What impact will nurses have on health care delivery

Editor’s note: This is a very positive sign. The question now is whether this increase in the nursing workforce will translate into moving low value from high paid resources (doctors) to relatively lower paid resources (nurses).

A recent study found that 243,000 nurses entered the work force between 2007 and 2008, an 18% climb, the largest two-year increase in nurse employment in 30 years or so.
