What will Health Reform Mean?

Editor’s note: No matter how you feel about health reform, no matter whether you support the public option, whether you believe that there should be an individual mandate, or whether you believe the UK or Canada has a better system than the current US system — one thing is clear — any change will have intended and unintended consequences.

There isn’t a health system in the world that works to perfection. They all have their issues.

So, is health reform about exchanging one series of problems and issues for another. Is the devil we know better or worse than the devil we don’t?
