Certain reforms could help reduce health system waste
A Thomson Reuters report found that between $505 billion and $850 billion of the U.S. budget is wasted every year because of inefficiencies such as medical errors and fraud in the health care system. The report supports the implementation of health reform provisions including the use of electronic medical records to help reduce the overall cost of health care in the country. Reuters (10/26)
