New Facebook settings could guide privacy standards in health care

Facebook has recently overhauled its settings to give users more control over public access to some of their personal information, possibly setting new standards for privacy technology and policies, which could some day be used in the health care sector, some experts say. However, Robert Shelton, co-founder and head of Private Access, warned that “There is a lot more stuff in health care that you have to worry about than what Facebook has to worry about.” Modern Healthcare
