Mail Order Improves Compliance
Mail order is both less expensive and the quality statistics (fill accuracy) are superior to retail pharmacy statistics.
Mail-order prescriptions increase patient compliance
Prescription refill data showed 84.7% of people who ordered medications by mail took them as prescribed, compared to 76.9% who bought their drugs at local pharmacies. Researchers said people who used mail-order pharmacies were more likely to have a financial incentive to fill prescriptions by mail and to live farther from a local pharmacy.
