Corporate wellness programs are stymied by federal law

Companies that require employees to fill out medical histories for themselves that include family health history are running up against the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act, which restricts their ability to collect certain information. Employers say they need the data to offer incentives and boost participation in wellness programs, which can cut their health care costs. The Wall Street Journal
