Obama’s 2011 budget proposal includes $911B for HHS

The HHS would receive $911 billion in fiscal 2011 under President Barack Obama’s budget proposal. The $51 billion increase over 2010 would cover comparative-effectiveness research and provide additional funding for Medicaid and Medicare, health information technology, and an effort to combat health care fraud. The Washington Post (2/2) BusinessWeek/HealthDay News (2/1)
