Everybody agrees that the continuing rise of health care spending is simply unsustainable. Health policy experts Arnold Milstein and Helen Darling detail in this article the areas where health care spending is wasteful and bankrupting the nation’s system. The authors suggest more feasible approaches for the Administration to consider and where changes would both reduce costs and improve health care quality.
